China has released a five-year plan for developing digital economy, aiming to boost the contribution of core digital economy industries to 10% of GDP by 2025.

China's digital economy should expand to make up 10% of the country's gross domestic product by 2025, up from 7.8% in 2020 according to the plan released by the State Council, China's cabinet.
