Chinese authorities announced a package of supportive measures, including promoting new energy vehicle sector and opening more duty-free stores, in an efforts to boost consumption amid COVID-19 outbreaks.
The State Council, China's cabinet, called for more efforts to promote the recovery of consumption and stabilize consumer spending, which is an important engine of China's economic growth, according to guidelines issued on Monday.
