China confirms high-level trade talks next week

Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will hold a new round of high-level China-US economic and trade consultation with US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in Beijing on 14th - 15th February, said China's Ministry of Commerce late Saturday.

It confirmed the White House announcement on Friday that US officials will be in Beijing February 14-15 for the third round of talks aimed at heading off an escalation of the ongoing trade war with China.
