China’s economic growth slowed more than expected to 6 per cent year-on-year in the third quarter, the weakest performance in nearly three decades.
The GDP growth reading was at the bottom end of the government’s full-year economic growth target of 6 - 6.5 per cent.
The data indicates that the economy is losing momentum further from the second quarter’s 6.2 per cent growth, adding to pressure on Beijing . . .
