China's economy is expected to grow by around 5.5% in 2022, bringing the average annual growth rate forecast for 2020 to 2022 to 5.34%, a top government think tank said in a report on Wednesday.

The world's second-largest economy is poised to maintain steady growth this year after posting an estimated 8.2% growth in 2021, according to annual report released by the Center for Forecasting Science (CEFS) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
