China services sector expands further on strong export sales: Caixin PMI

China’s services sector expanded at the second-fastest pace since 2016, with export sales growing at a the fastest rate on record.

The Caixin/Markit services purchasing managers’ index (PMI) climbed to 54.5, the highest since January 2018 and the second highest since the record started in April 2016, slightly up from 54.4 in March. The 50-mark separates growth from contraction.
