China's cement prices have been climbing since late August amid rising demand in the traditional peak season and as local government bond issuance picks up which is expected to boost infrastructure investment.
China's average cement prices stood at 448 yuan per tonne last week, rising by 13.2 yuan per tonne from the previous week and in China's northeastern, eastern, central and southwestern regions, prices were raised by 30 - 50 yuan per tonne, according to industry data.
