China’s Central Economic Work Conference outlined the key tasks for next year, emphasizing the need to boost consumption, enhance investment efficiency, and comprehensively expand domestic demand.
Specific measures include implementing targeted actions to stimulate consumption, intensifying and expanding the implementation of the policies for large-scale equipment renewal program and consumer goods trade-in program, and providing stronger support for the projects of major national strategies and the construction of security capabilities in key areas, it said.
Efforts will also focus on strengthening coordination between fiscal and financial policies, effectively leveraging government investment to drive social investment, vigorously advancing urban renewal initiatives, and launching special actions to reduce logistics costs across society, it said.
