China's domestic tourism sector is showing signs of recovery and the aviation sector's activity also picked up as the country's life is gradually returning to normal after the coronavirus outbreak was brought under control.

Several regions are seeing improvement in tourism activity. According to the Shanghai Culture and Tourism Bureau, average occupancy rate of hotels in the city increased to 61.9 per cent, 65.8 per cent and 64.4 per cent in the first three weeks of August, from 56 per cent and 58.2 per cent in the last two weeks . . .
