China’s manufacturing activities expanded at the fastest growth since September 2017 in November, while activities in the services sector also hit a multi-year high, as the world's second largest economy recover further from the coronavirus crisis.

The official manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI) rose to 52.1 in November from 51.4 in the previous month, showed data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday, higher than 51.5 expected by analysts in a Bloomberg poll. A reading above 50 indicates growth in sector activity, while a reading below represents contraction . . .
