China's live hog prices see long-awaited rebound recently, jumping more than 30 per cent in two weeks, but analysts believe that dark days for the sector are not over yet and hog prices may not bottom out until early next year.

Live hog prices hit 10.63 yuan per kg on Oct. 6, the lowest level in the current cycle, before rebounding by 33.6 per cent to 14.2 yuan per kg . . .
