China’s lithium carbonate prices decline further to hit three-year low, spot market liquidity picks up slightly

China's lithium carbonate prices decline further to hit a new low in more than three years, though spot market liquidity picks up slightly this year on small-scale restocking by consumers.

The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate fell by 200 yuan per tonne to 73,800 yuan per tonne on Wednesday, marking a new low in more than three years, bringing the five-day loss to 520 yuan per tonne and 30-day loss to 12,020 yuan per tonne, according to data from Shanghai Metals Market.
