China's mobile shipments fell 8.1% in September from a year earlier to 21.4 million units, including 15.12 million units of 5G-enabled mobile phones, up 8.1% year over year and accounting for 70.5% of the total mobile phone shipments last month, according to the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT) under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
