China’s silicon material prices drop from record highs amid slower-than-expected solar installation

Prices of silicon materials are falling from record highs amid slower-than-expected solar installation.

According to data released by the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, prices of single-crystal silicon materials dropped to a range of 235,000 - 263,000 yuan per tonne this week, with transaction price around 250,000 yuan per tonne, sliding more than 4% from the previous week.
