China's steel industry saw its earnings hit the highest on record in the first 11 months of 2021, but their earnings for November alone slumped, indicating increasing downward pressure ahead.
In the period of January - November last year, the steel industry posted the best performance on record, said Lv Guixin, an official from the raw material department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, at a steel industry conference on Monday.
