Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD reported a net profit of 1.75 billion yuan in the third quarter of the year, surging by 1,362.7 per cent from the same period last year, according to its earnings results announced on Thursday.
In the first three quarters, the carmaker posted a revenue of 105.02 billion yuan, rising 11.94 per cent year over year, and its net profit soared 116.8 per cent in the period . . .
