China’s Politburo: Chinese economy faces increasing downward pressure

China's top policymakers said the country is facing higher downward economic pressure and pledged more measures to stabilise the economy, the unemployment as well as the volatile capital market in a meeting held by the Political Bureau of the CCP Central Committee on Wednesday chaired by the President Xi Jinxing.
