Chinese textile, garment factories get busy as global orders transferred back from India

China's textile and garment factories are getting busy these days as global companies are transferring orders back to China as Indian companies are battling a coronavirus outbreak, and as China's domestic market picks up ahead of busy winter season.

"We have seen some textile orders being transferred from India and our workers have to work overtimes these days," said Liao Yunlong, an executive of Jiangsu Eastern Shenghong Co Ltd., a leading Chinese textile producer.
