Chinese yuan strengthens against dollar to hit strongest in more than three years
Driven by stronger-than-expected exports and corporate dollar sales, Chinese yuan strengthens against the US dollar on Wednesday, with both onshore and offshore exchange rates touching their firmest levels in more than three-and-a-half years.
The People's Bank of China set the yuan's daily fixing at 6.3677 per dollar prior to market open on Wednesday, the strongest since June 1.
