China’s southern metropolis Guangzhou will continue implementing the policy for auto scrappage and trae-in subsidies, the Guangzhou Bureau of Commerce announced on Thuesday.
From January 1 until the national car scrappage and renewal subsidy policy is introduced in 2025, consumers who scrap their eligible old cars and purchase eligible new cars will receive a one-time subsidy, with the subsidy standard remaining unchanged, it said.
