Huawei posted first drop in annual sales in 19 years, profit jumped 76% driven by asset sales

Chinese telecommunication equipment giant Huawei Technologies posted a revenue of 636.8 billion yuan ($100 billion) in 2021, sliding 28.6% from a year earlier and marking the company's first drop in annual revenue in 19 years, according to earnings resulted released on Monday.

Net profit amounted to 113.7 billion yuan last year, jumping 76% from the previous year. Its net profit margin improved significantly to 17.9% in 2021 from 7.3 . . .
