Chinese A-shares open largely flat on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edging down 0.03%, the Shenzhen Component Index down 0.01% and the tech-heavy Chinext Price Index is down 0.03%.
Lithium mining companies, solar power companies, semiconductor companies and gas distributors are trading higher, while trade companies, automakers, coal miners, food companies, liquor makers are mostly lower.
