Overseas investors’ weekly net buying of A-shares hit second-highest on record

Overseas investors bought a net 9.256 billion yuan of Chinese A-shares via the Mainland – Hong Kong Stock Connect on Friday, marking the 13th consecutive trading day. 

For the last week ahead of the Spring Festival holiday, overseas investors bought a net 48.5 billion yuan of A-shares via the Stock Connect , marking the second-highest weekly figure on record, compared to the record of 48.8 billion yuan set in Dec 2021.

So far in January, overseas investors bought a net 112.5 billion yuan of A-shares.
