Several Chinese cities saw home sales pick up in December after the authority marginally relaxed financing to the housing market.
New home sales in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong province, rose to 9,071 units in November and 10,678 units in December, rising 36% and 18% from the previous month, ending the declines since March last year, according to data from the China Real Estate Information Corporation (CRIC).
