A number of Chinese cities have released guidance prices for school subject tutoring services at off-campus institutions. Some industry insiders say that the prices are set too low for the industry to maintain normal operations.

In the capital city of Beijing and the financial hub of Shanghai, the local regulator set the guidance price for offline tutoring services of school subjects for students at compulsory education stage at 80 yuan per person per session . . .
