Sino-US relation not weakened by US shooting Chinese ballon – US President Biden

US President Joe Biden said that the relations between Washington and Beijing were not weakened by the incident of US military shooting down what was suspected to be a Chinese spy balloon over the weekend.

Biden said it has always been his opinion that the balloon needs to be shot down as soon as possible, but emphasized that the US government had made it clear to China the actions it was about to take and that the Chinese government understood the position of Washington.
