Tencent Holdings spent HK$351 million repurchasing 1.37 million shares on Tuesday, at prices of HK$254.2 – HK$262.4, according to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Since August 19, Tencent has spent HK$12.67 billion repurchasing a total of 42.85 million shares in 36 consecutive trading days. Year to date, Tencent has spent HK$22.68 billion on 73 stock buybacks.
Tencent shares slid 3.5% to close at HK$254.6 on Tuesday, the lowest level since November 2018.
