Tencent Holdings spent about HK$352 million repurchasing 1.26 million shares on Tuesday, at prices of HK$275.4 – HK$283, according to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Since August 19, Tencent has spent HK$9.499 billion buying back a total of 31.1 million shares in 27 consecutive trading days.
Year to date, Tencent has spent HK$19.5 billion on stock buybacks, the highest on Tencent’s record and also the biggest share repurchase among Hong Kong-listed companies this year.
Tencent shares closed down 0.85% at HK$280.8 on Tuesday.
