Berkshire Hathaway sold more BYD shares, cut stake to 9.87%

Berkshire Hathaway, the investment company owned by Warren Buffett sold 1.96 million Hong Kong-listed shares of electric vehicle maker BYD Company on May 2 at an average price of Hk$235.64 per share, according to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

On completion, the investor’s stake in BYD was lowered to 9.87% from previous 10.05%, according to the filing.
