China’s mobile phone shipments fell for a second month in a row in May, falling by 32 per cent from a year earlier, after sales more than doubled on year in the first quarter.

Some 22.97 million cell phones were shipped in China's domestic market last month, according to data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a think tank under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In April, mobile phone shipments had fallen over 34 percent to 27.49 million.
