Hong Kong stocks closed lower, property management companies rallied

The Hang Seng Index fell 0.54% to close at 16,634, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index down 0.72% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 0.19%. 

Technology heavyweights were mostly mixed, with Baidu down more than 2%, Tencent down 1.2%, while Lenovo Group surging 4.1%. Financial heavyweights were mostly down, with CICC, Bank of China and PCCW leading the losses. 

Property management companies, heavy machinery manufacturers, Apple suppliers, paper producers and education companies outperformed. 

Coal miners, electric power companies, mobile game companies and telecoms companies were mostly down.
