The UK is considering an investigation into China's state subsidies to electric vehicle manufacturers, reported Politico, citing sources, after the European Union launched a similar investigation in October last year.

Kemi Badenoch, the British trade minister, is preparing to instruct the UK's trade regulator, the Trade Remedies Authority (TRA), to launch an investigation, as UK manufacturers are concerned that they may face retaliation from China if they file a complaint, the report said . . .
