Several Chinese cities have rolled out measures to help property developers and shore up the housing market hit by the coronavirus outbreak.

However, two of them have reversed the decisions to relax property curbs, indicating that policymakers are still cautious about easing real estate policies to boost the economy.

The south city of Guangzhou on Tuesday announced a package of 48 measures to boost the economy, including relaxing restrictions on purchase of commercial properties, becoming the first top-tier city to ease property curbs.
