China’s factory-gate prices slipped deeper into deflation in March as companies' activity continued to suffer from the impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

The country's consumer inflation eased last month and analysts say that consumer prices are expected to decline further and could also dip into deflation in the second half of this year due to falling oil prices and weak demand.
