More Chinese cities see higher new home prices in April and the prices rose at a faster pace, adding to signs of gradual recovery of the housing market as the economy reopens from the coronavirus lockdown.
Of the 70 major cities tracked by the NBS, 50 saw new home prices rise in April from the previous month, compared to 38 in March, said the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
Average new home prices in the 70 cities rose 0.5 per cent in April from the previous month, the fastest pace since October last . . .
