China’s margin trading is picking up as investors rush into the stock market on expectation of stronger economic recovery, more reforms for China's capital market and ample liquidity. The increasing margin financing has prompted warnings from the top securities regulator.

Shares in mainland China closed at multi-year highs on Wednesday, extending their winning streak to a seventh session.
