Sales of new energy vehicles (NEV) in China, the world’s largest auto market, will increase to 20 per cent of overall new car sales by 2025 from just 5 per cent currently, and the share will increase further to 50 per cent by 2035, according to the roadmap drafted by the China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE).
