China's macro leverage ratio is expected to remain stable in the second half of the year based on the current economic recovery and debt growth, Ruan Jianhong, spokesperson of the central bank, said at a news conference on Tuesday.

In the first quarter of the year, micro leverage ratio stood at 276.8 per cent, down by 2.6 percentage points from the end of last year, showed official data. Leverage in the non-financial corporate sector, government sector and household sector . . .
