China's factory-gate inflation cooled slightly in November, after the government took a series of measures to curb surging commodity prices and a power crunch eased, while consumer inflation hit the highest since September 2020 driven by rising food and energy prices.

The producer price index (PPI) grew by 12.9% in November from a year earlier, showed data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Thursday, easing from October's 26 . . .
