Retail sales of passenger vehicles in the world's largest automaker declined at the fastest pace since March 2020 in April as stringent COVID-19 containment measures across several regions shut factories, impacted logistics and weighed on demand.

Retail sales of passenger cars fell 35.7% in April from a year earlier to 1.04 million units, down 34% from the prior month, according to data by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) on Tuesday . . .
