US President Biden still considering whether to cancel punitive tariffs on China imports – Treasury Secretary Janet yellen

US President Joe Biden is still in consideration of whether to cancel the tariffs on Chinese imports to lower cost, said Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

“He wants to make sure that what he decides is good for American workers,” Yellen said, adding that it was important economically to take a tough stance against China’s non-market practices.

“China has really been guilty of unfair trade practices. We’ve all agreed on that. And he really wants to consider it carefully. I don’t have a timetable for it.”
