China’s AI giant SenseTime rallied on FTSE Russell review

SenseTime continue to rally on new that FTSE Russell to evaluate shares for eligibility for indexes.

Chinese AI giant SenseTime jumped as much as more than 9% to hit HK$3.1 in Hong Kong after gaining more than 3% one day earlier. The stock closed the day 3.5% higher at HK$2.94.

FTSE Russell said that SenseTime is not currently subject to US sanctions prohibiting US investors from holding shares of the company following the receipt of a confirmation from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US.

SenseTime will be evaluated for index eligibility for the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS) March 2023 semi-annual review, it added.
