UBS remains optimistic about China's economic outlook, prefers Chinese, EM stocks

Despite the recent consolidation in China's stock market, UBS remains optimistic about its economic outlook and maintains preference for Chinese and emerging market stocks, the bank said in a note.

The upcoming earnings season, which is expected to provide new catalysts, will likely confirm the recovery momentum of some companies' profit, it said.
