China’s foldable screen mobile phone market shipments surged 150% on year in Q4; Huawei, Oppo, Honor drove growth – research

China's shipments of foldable screen mobile phones reached about 2.771 million units in Q4 of 2023, surging 149.6% from a year earlier, with Huawei, OPPO and Honor's new products driving the market's continued growth, according to market research firm IDC.

Shipments for the full-year of 2023 reached about 7.007 million units, jumping 114.5% from the previous year, and since the launch of the first product in 2019 . . .
