Beijing city’s Party Chief met HSBC chairman, called for investment and business expansion

Yin Li, the Party Chief of China’s capital city Beijing, met with HSBC Group’s chairman Mark Tucker on Tuesday, according to the local government-backed newspaper Beijing Daily. 

Yin said that he hoped HSBC would further expand its investments and business operations in the city, actively participate in the construction of the Beijing Global Wealth Management Center, and strive to create more demonstration projects.

Tucker saod that HSBC will continue to increase investments and business operations in Beijing, facilitate the opening-up of Beijing’s financial industry, and leverage its own strengths to make greater contributions to promoting economic and trade exchanges between the UK and China.
