ByteDance formed team to produce some robots for e-commerce business – report

ByteDance, parent company of popular short-video platform TikTok, has formed a team of about 50 people to produce some robots that can sort and pack goods in the warehouse to serve the company’s own e-commerce business, according to Chinese tech media LatePost. 

The company plans to expand the team to more than 100 people by the end of the year, according to the report.
