China expected to grow “around 6%” in Q4, policy to return to normal in Q1 next year – PBOC advisor

China's economic recovery has been better than expected after the coronavirus outbreak was brought under control,"said Ma Jun, an advisor to the People's Bank of China (PBOC) on Saturday.

According to Ma's estimate, China's economic growth will accelerate to "around 6 per cent" in the fourth quarter of this year, as life and production in most parts of China have returned to normal, and urban unemployment rate is expected to drop to around 5.5 per cent.
