China Resources Cement expects profit to slide 63% -68%

China Resources Cement issued a profit warning, expecting the profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2023 to slide by about 63% – 68% from a year earlier. 

The decline was primarily due to the lower selling prices and sales, as well as the one-off gain on disposal of a subsidiary of HK$239 million recognised a year earlier, it said.
