China to place stabilizing growth in more prominent position, to boost growth in ten key industries – industry ministry

China will place stabilizing economic growth in a more prominent position, accelerate implementation of the policy to promote auto and household consumption, and accelerate drafting and implementation of the plan to stabilize growth in ten key industries, including automobile, electronics, steel, etc, said Zhao Zhiguo, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), at a press conference on Wednesday. 

The ministry will strengthen planning and policy guidance, deepen its cooperation with provinces, and support large industrial provinces to play a pivotal role, he said. 

It will focus on key companies and specialized and innovation enterprises, improved the mechanism for regular communications and problem solving, so as to stimuluate greater vitality in business entities, he said.
