China to release policy document on promoting consumption on household supplies – commerce ministry

China’s Ministry of Commerce said that the government attaches great importance to expanding domestic demand and boost consumption, and the ministry has drafted a policy document on promoting consumption on household supplies, with measures ranging from improving the quality of supply, innovating consumption scenarios, improving consumption conditions and optimizing the consumption environment.

The document has been approved by the State Council on June 29 and will be released soon, it said.
